The online crowdfunding campaign did well, thanks to so many generous friends, old and new, who sent in donations from all parts of the country. Although we did not reach our monetary goal, we have just enough to make the distribution offer an affordable reality. We're proud to announce that HUMBLE BEAUTY will be distributed nationally to public television stations by American Public Television from January, 2013 to January 2016. The presenting station for the film is KRCB-TV, Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, CA.

Thank you to all our supporters for making this happen! Because we didn't reach our full goal in the campaign, we will have to cut back on publicity efforts. Remember that each public TV station decides whether to air HUMBLE BEAUTY or not. Promotional efforts targeted to programmers at PBS stations, alerting them to the importance of our film, can make the difference between reaching thousands of viewers or millions of viewers. Be sure to email or call your local public TV station and ask them to air HUMBLE BEAUTY!

HUMBLE BEAUTY has been offered national distribution on PBS stations through American Public Television, the premier program service to PBS stations. This is a dream-come-true but there is no payment to the filmmakers for this privilege. There are many, many expenses needed to make the film ready for PBS standards -- re-editing to time requirements, buying broadcast insurance, extending expensive music rights, publicity and promotion and much more. We can't do it alone. We really need your help. Even small donations help.

All donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE thanks to our non-profit fiscal sponsor, From The Heart Productions in Los Angeles. Even if you can't donate, help spread the word by SHARING it on Facebook or Twitter or wherever you hang out online.

We offer great prizes to all donors from DVDs to T-shirts to artwork to tours of Skid Row and Your Name on the Credits! Click to see our pitch video and campaign website: > www.indiegogo.com/humblebeauty

Let's make this empowering LA story go national!
